SOLICITING FOR ASSISTANCE IN CONSTRUCTION OF MATERNITY BLOCK.

The Management of Namong SDA Hospital request for assistance towards the construction of maternity block this year. The Hospital is a Healthcare facility located at Offinso Municipality in Ashanti region which was established in 1st April, 2011 by MARANATHA/ADRA FINLAND. The facility is a mission hospital which is mandated to provide high quality healthcare, affordable and convenient total healthcare services through best practices and innovation for utmost client satisfaction to families and people of Offinso Municipality and its environs. The total population in Offinso municipality is estimated 15,000. The daily OPD attendance ranges between 200 to 250.

The Hospital operates 24/7 hour services. The Hospital keeps expanding which needs more space to run other services. The facility has expanded to various departments and special clinics. However, the hospital faces challenges and the major challenge is inadequate space especially at the maternity ward. Currently, there is so much quest for clients’ space at the antenatal clinic and ward as well. Total number of deliveries at the hospital per annum is over 600 against attendance of 700 at antenatal clinic. The low delivery turn out is due to the inadequate bed capacity at our facility.

The Hospital would be greatly appreciated in your effort to support us in construction of our new Maternity block. The Hospital wishes to reiterate its commitment to continue providing quality healthcare to the local people within Offinso Municipality and its environs.
